Oil
Sands Show
Although
Trivision will not be an exhibitor at the
Oil Sands Conference in Fort
McMurray, we are planning on visiting and taking part in a
number of the activities. If you would like to meet with
Trivision during or after the show, let us know and we will
arrange a time to meet and discuss your needs. Also, if you
are interested in attending, but want to travel with someone
to Fort McMurray
contact Trivision to travel together. This
will give you a great opportunity to pick our brain for tips
and other helps.
Power*Suite 6.0
Version 6.0
is without a doubt the most exciting release yet. We
have greatly enhanced Power*Core and made Log and Curve
the most practical logging tool available. We have
made this version even easier, adding new tracks and
layers. We have made real strides in our Core logging
module and feel there is none other in the market to
match it.
One of the
considerable new features is the ability to print your
reports to MS Word, where you can manipulate and
customize it yourself. We have added the corporate logo
module for everyone. So, if you do not have it you
will get it for FREE with this upgrade. Other new or
improved features include:

Bob's Bits
Well the summer is coming to
a close and we hope you all had some well deserved time off. The weather
really hasn't co-operated but a rainy day on a golf course it way better
than a dreary day behind a desk. It has been such a busy year in more ways
than one. The patch is continuing to go at warp like speed and we are all
hustling to keep up the pace.
We will be releasing Version 6.0 here in the very near future. It will have
most tracks or layers available to our clients to be able to handle just
about anything a logger could hope to input. Please refer to Version 6
features elsewhere in this newsletter to detail these improvements. We are
continuing to make the program easier and faster to use as the speed of the
drilling just does not slow down. We are happy to say that many of our users
suggestions or comments have been dealt with in this release. If they have
not then we will be looking at those concerns as we want to make this
program the best it can be.
As in the past, I will reiterate again, that if you have any wishes,
problems, bugs or suggestions to make the program better, please feel free
to call, email or write your suggestions to us so we can continue to improve
an already awsome chip and core logging tool.
I would like to personally thank you for your continued support and hope the
fall / winter drilling season is a good one for all.
Yours truly,
R.W.
(Bob) Sephton, P. Geol.
