It's now
two thirds through the 2006 year and high oil prices have kept us all on our
toes. Most of us have been too busy to even know what our cup of coffee
tastes like until mid noon. For those of you in the field, wells are coming
hard and fast. While this time of boom is a boon for our pocket books in our
hearts we're looking forward to some down time.
At Trivision even without a major
release of a new version we're still busy with new geologists entering in to
keep up with demand. We have attended the AAPG and CSPG conferences, making
some invaluable contacts. We continue to support these societies and plan on
attending more in the future.
While Version 7.0 of
Power*Suite is now available for our core users, a new
release of Power*Log is expected in the coming weeks with many new changes,
improvements and features available, as Version 8.0.
As with last time we
will offer the upgrade at a 20% discount for the first month
and 10% for the next. We will also offer bundled discounts
and discounts for additional modules. We will keep you
posted as to further deals and when it will be available.
Our goal is release it
to our corporate clients prior to wellsite users, to ensure
they are ready for the new files.
We are always looking for your
input. With the new wellsite version in the initial
brainstorming stages we will continue to incorporate some of
the ideas you offer.
Bobs Bits
Well Hello again,
Wow this past year has been great. We've been
plugging along with Power*Core and getting great feedback. We recently
released 7.0 to the core users and are now ready to release it to our
wellsite users. So as not to confuse anyone we will be calling it
Power*Suite 8.0.
Version 8.0 will have numerous new features
everyone has asked about, the most important being the UNDO button. You will
be able to undo or redo over 100 actions, that's a lot.
As
we come closer to the release time we will ensure our corporate users have
first chance to upgrade.

The next version of
Power*Suite is on its way. Version 7.0 is available but only
for our core loggers. We are currently looking for your
input for new features. As you know Version 6.0 was designed
to be the most customizable software available. Some new
