Power*Suite 4.0 The new version is faster, safer and more efficient than ever. If you think that Trivision can't improve on that, you're wrong. We are currently in the planning stages of producing Power*Suite 5.0. This new program will be a major upgrade. Version 5.0 will have a number of noticeable changes including the ability to incorporate microscope core samples in the log as well as many of the suggestions you the user have expressed. Keep coming back to our web site to see if there are new updates for 4.0 and news about other programs we are currently working on. Upgrade Version | New Version | Contact Us | About 3.3 | Other Products | Prices Bob's Bits We have made it through yet another slow summer and we at Trivision are looking forward to another good fall and winter drilling season. By all accounts it has been a rather dismal spring / summer exploration season but the drilling trend appears to be picking up and will continue for some time. There have been some bright spots over this past few months with our release of 4.0 and getting the kinks ironed out of the new release. It was a major undertaking on our part to rewrite the application from a 16 bit to a 32 bit source code and the conversion of our Watcom database to a more mainstream Microsoft Access database. We are pleased with the end results as well as our clients’ comments as to our release have been positive to say the least. These improvements have enhanced our development team tools and resources with the most current development products so that we can better our product in the most efficient manor possible. It really is too early in our development process to tell you all the major highlights of the new version release. One thing that is a for sure is that we will be implementing a photo layer that will incorporate the viewing, sizing and placing of any type of picture files. There are many more possibilities but time will tell. If you have any suggestions, such as an easier way of doing an old task or brand new ideas now is the time to let us know. We have always enjoyed hearing from our users as to what was good, not so good or downright lousy. As you have heard from me in the past, we really do appreciate any or all of our user comments. We are also undertaking a detailed core log which will incorporate all the present features of Power*Log. This new product will be called Power*Core. We will be adding additional layers for the user to input detailed sedimentary structures, trace fossils and facies, depositional environments, bedding contacts and types along with a different way of showing ages and formation tops on the log. This will help us change the corporate way of thinking about the utilization of our software. I would like to thank you all for all the comments and support you have shown towards us in the past and we are looking forward to a bright future. Yours truly, R.W. (Bob) Sephton P. Geol.. CSPG Convention Trivision would like to thank everyone who did stop by. We would also like to thank Bob Wilson and Bob Schneider of The Display Centre. They helped us with the booth and personally I think it was one of the best at the show. We are looking forward to next years show and are currently in the planning stages for attending the AAPG Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City in 2003. If you are wanting to go to the show or are wanting to have your company promoted in Salt Lake, please contact us and we may be able to work together for the show. |

Just double click the track to open the annotation builder, and then right click on the track to bring up the pop-up menu. From the menu, select ‘Change Font Properties’ and choose new settings that will affect all annotations/lithology descriptions on that track .For more information see the Power*Suite User Manual pp 265-270 or click here. |
