Horizontal log

Power*Curve is based on the same principles as Power*Log, but has been created specifically for horizontal applications. The product was designed to be totally integrated with Power*Log so that there is a seamless transition between the vertical and horizontal sections of your wells. By utilizing the exact same Power*Suite database, the user can create two separate and complete striplogs and one fully integrated well-end report.

The architecture of Power*Curve is built around a relational database management system (RDBMS) where pertinent data is captured and stored to facilitate data manipulation. Furthermore, the Power*Suite database has been strategically designed to be ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) compliant. This enables third party programs supporting the ODBC interface to work directly with our database in a client-server and heterogeneous environment.

Power*Curve is an integrated system that consists of a log editor as well as data transfer and reporting modules. It is complimented by the LAS Modules, the Survey*View module, the Vertical Section module, and now the Power*Steer module along with our real time data acquisition module which we call Power*WITS. Power*Log and Power*Curve applications implement single entry data that greatly reduce the work load of wellsite geologists compiling comprehensive geological wellsite data, while ensuring a higher level of data standardization. Finally, both will produce timely, consistent and co-relatable data from user to user and well to well cutting the time necessary to make informed decisions and the costs associated with making those decisions. Complete end of well and morning reports generated from the data you enter into the different reporting windows provide by Power*Suite.
